How Xamalytics (Pty) Ltd collects, uses and protects personal information on this website.
Xamalytics (Pty) Ltd ("Xamalytics", "we", "us") is a South African company providing AI, data analytics and quantitative modelling services to financial institutions. We are a subsidiary of Amidel.
For the purposes of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 ("POPIA"), Xamalytics is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website.
This policy covers personal information we collect through www.xamalytics.co.za. It does not cover the processing of client data inside deployments of our software, which is governed by the contract and data processing terms agreed with that client.
Information you give us. When you submit the contact form we collect your name, work email address, company name (optional), the nature of your enquiry and your message. We use this solely to respond to you and to maintain a record of the enquiry.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting and content delivery infrastructure (Amazon Web Services) processes technical data including your IP address, browser type, referring page and the pages you request. This is used to serve the site securely and to diagnose faults.
Information collected through advertising cookies. If you consent, the LinkedIn Insight Tag places cookies on your device and reports to LinkedIn that you visited this site. See section 5.
We do not knowingly collect special personal information, and we do not collect information from children.
This site does not use cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function, beyond storing your cookie choice itself.

This website is served from Amazon Web Services infrastructure and contact-form emails are delivered via Amazon Simple Email Service, which may process data outside South Africa. Where you consent to advertising cookies, LinkedIn processes data outside South Africa. We rely on the recipients' contractual commitments and their own data protection obligations to provide protection comparable to POPIA.
Contact-form enquiries are retained for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and thereafter only as long as required for legal or record-keeping purposes. Advertising cookies expire according to the durations set by LinkedIn; your cookie choice is stored in your browser for 12 months.
The site is served over HTTPS. Contact-form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and delivered to a controlled mailbox. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
